Perfect Crispy Bacon

Crispy bacon that turns out great every time

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon

Directions

  1. Take bacon out 15-20 minutes before starting. Getting it to room temp makes it easier
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  3. Use a cookie sheet and put bacon on parchment paper
  4. Bake for about 20 mins
    • Flip bacon strips after 10 mins
    • Check to see if it’s done after another 8 mins
  5. Remove from oven, place on paper towels to soak grease

Baking Tips

  • Keep an eye on things after flipping
  • Use a timer!
  • Do not leave unattended or it’ll smoke, burn, and stink up your kitchen. I’ve been known to set off smoke detectors on more than one occasion
