Crispy bacon that turns out great every time
Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
Directions
- Take bacon out 15-20 minutes before starting. Getting it to room temp makes it easier
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Use a cookie sheet and put bacon on parchment paper
- Bake for about 20 mins
- Flip bacon strips after 10 mins
- Check to see if it’s done after another 8 mins
- Remove from oven, place on paper towels to soak grease
Baking Tips
- Keep an eye on things after flipping
- Use a timer!
- Do not leave unattended or it’ll smoke, burn, and stink up your kitchen. I’ve been known to set off smoke detectors on more than one occasion
